North Steyne SLSC has enjoyed a long association with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), dating back to at least 1986 when CBA sponsored a surf board successfully used in a surf carnival, which was named for CBA as well.
The CBA currently sponsors our annual swim by providing financial support, trophies, and prize money for winners of the two major swim events and the “Dash for Cash” as well as clothing for participants and the volunteer workforce. In addition, CBA employees participate in the events and assist in various organisation activities. North Steyne SLSC appreciates the financial and other support from CBA which substantially contributes to the overall success of our annual Ocean Swim.
In addition to its sponsorship, North Steyne SLSC has built up a solid business relationship with CBA, taking advantage of their products, services and special member programs wherever possible thereby assisting and contributing to North Steyne SLSC’s financial and administrative operations.
The nearest CBA branch is located on the Corso near Darley Road, in the heart of Manly.
