Donors and Supporters
In addition to our major sponsors and partners, North Steyne SLSC is fortunate to benefit from the generosity of a wide-ranging group of donors and supporters from amongst the local community.
Manly Malibu Boardriders Club
Formed in 1985, the Manly Malibu Boardriders Club (MMBC) has provided the local Manly surfing community with a forum for regular longboard or Malibu surfboard competition and social gatherings.
Each year on the June long weekend, MMBC also hosts the “Snowy McCallister” Winter Longboard Festival, which brings some of the best long board exponents in the country to compete here at our own beach at North Steyne.
MMBC have actively supported a number of other local community groups like the North Steyne SLSC and in particular our Nippers section. Over the years they have donated equipment including Nipper boards, Rescue Boards and an Automated External Defibrillator, all from funds raised during their own competition season.
North Steyne SLSC strongly encourages members with an interest in longboarding to also support MMBC and their endeavours with the Manly community at large.
